The Founders

James Meagher

James Meagher is President and CEO of Kincaid Home Furnishings Inc., which he co-founded in 2004.  Through endless hours of hard work, James has grown Kincaid Home Furnishings to become the premier retailer of Solid Wood Furniture in the D.C. Metro Area.

James started his career in the Home Furnishings industry over twenty five years ago working in a warehouse for Certified Furniture Sales.  Soon after he moved into a Sales position to help pay his way thru college, working the sales floor during summers and holiday breaks from school.  Upon graduation James moved to Maryland and opened a new location for Certified Furniture Sales in the D.C Metro market.  James has remained in the Home Furnishing Industry with high profile positions at both local and national companies including Calico Corners and Cort Furniture. 

James believes “furniture enhances people’s lives and we attempt to bring happiness to customers through beautiful home furnishings”.

James holds a BS from Virginia Tech, and lives in Maryland with his wife and two daughters.

Justin Morgan

Justin Morgan has been the Chief Finance and Operations Officer of Kincaid Home Furnishings Inc. since 2005.   

Justin has extensive technological expertise stemming from his military experience in the United States Marine Corps and contract work with the U.S. State Department and the Department of Defense.

Although his early years were spent working in IT positions, his passion has always been in finance and his career aspirations have landed him in key roles with start-up companies such as MobiApps Inc. and Simply Wireless which both grew to be very successful.

In 2005, he joined Kincaid Home Furnishings, with the belief that success in the furniture industry can most easily be achieved by understanding how technology can greatly benefit the way furniture is made, bought, and ultimately delivered.

Justin holds a BS and MBA in Business and is currently pursuing his DBA. He lives in Virginia with his wife and young daughter.
